This fun and inspirational group class is offered to children in a relaxed environment to
give them a chance to discover their inner musical talent. Throughout the session, students will learn to develop the art of listening, playing together, and understanding the basic language of music. They will be introduced not only to the basics of violin playing, but also to the beauty of sound, rhythm, and musical notation. By the end of the session, students will be able to play several songs on their own as well as read music! This workshop is open to all children in grades 2-6 with no previous musical studies necessary.
Students must bring their own bow and violin. Workbooks will be provided by the
instructor.
